The Institute of Computer Studies (ICS) was established in January 2025 at Bulacan Agricultural State College (BASC) to consolidate and enhance academic programs in Information Technology. With the growing demand for digital skills, ICS is dedicated to providing quality education in computing, software development, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies. Its programs are designed to equip students with technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and industry-relevant knowledge, ensuring they are prepared for careers in the rapidly evolving tech landscape. Through research, hands-on learning, and industry collaborations, ICS fosters an environment that encourages innovation and technological advancement. The institute continuously updates its curriculum to align with global trends and industry standards, making it a key player in IT education.

Under the leadership of Prof. Michelle M. Cortez, ICS is committed to developing a strong academic foundation, securing accreditations, and integrating modern teaching methodologies. Faculty members, who are experts in their respective fields, ensure that students gain both theoretical knowledge and practical experience through laboratory work, projects, and certification programs. The institute actively organizes IT seminars, coding competitions, and hackathons to enhance student engagement and professional growth. In addition, ICS collaborates with technology companies and academic institutions to provide students with real-world exposure and internship opportunities. These initiatives aim to strengthen the competitiveness and employability of ICS graduates in the IT industry.

Currently housed in the IT Building, ICS serves as a hub for technological learning, research, and development within BASC. It offers students access to state-of-the-art computer laboratories, collaborative workspaces, and mentorship programs to support their academic and professional growth. By encouraging participation in student organizations, innovation projects, and technology-driven activities, ICS helps learners build connections and refine their skills. Continuous faculty training and infrastructure improvements ensure that the institute remains at the forefront of IT education. With a mission to cultivate skilled professionals and drive digital transformation, ICS is poised to become a leading institution in Information Technology.
